儘管九合一大選已落幕，但論文抄襲案還沒結束，桃園市長鄭文燦今（2）日坦承，已接獲台大通知，他就讀台大國發所碩士在職專班碩士論文涉抄襲，因此被撤銷學位，教育部表示已收到台大函文。
桃園市長鄭文燦於2011年就讀台大國發所在職專班所寫論文被檢舉抄襲，台大接獲檢舉後組成審定委員會，認定抄襲比例超過3成，依照學位授予法規定，並將撤銷學位事項函知各大專校院及國家圖書館和教育部。
