據西班牙《阿貝賽報》網站報道，受到質疑的英國首相莉茲·特拉斯19日在議會下院接受她大幅調整財政方案和更換財政大臣後的首次質詢。質詢會氣氛激烈，在掌聲、嘲笑聲和叫喊聲中，特拉斯再次為其所犯的錯誤道歉，但在將自己描述為一名「鬥士」後再次重申無意辭職。她表示：「我是一名鬥士，不是一個輕言放棄的人。」
報道稱，在上任不到兩個月的時間裏，在剛剛接受第三次質詢之後，要求特拉斯辭職的聲音就越來越大，而她在民意調查中的支持率也在繼續下降。
